The Civil War Tribute Quilt is a 12 month Block of the Month quilt using the Civil War Tribute fabric collection designed by Judie Rothermel for Marcus Fabrics. This beautifully detailed quilt, which measures 100"x 112" is divided into twelve monthly kits. Each monthly kit contains fabrics and detailed directions for making a variety of blocks along with a story of a major event or battle that was fought during the Civil War. This special quilt is a celebration of the 150 year commemoration of the American Civil War in 2011.

Thimbleberries Club 2010 - Come join us one night a month for a social hour of demos, show and tell, and laughs! This years club project is called Village Green. It is available in three color ways, Dawn, Dusk and Midnight. The quilt finishes to 72x92 with options of alternate settings and queen size variation. Registration fee is $25.00 and you receive a free charm pack if you register prior to 12/31/09. The monthly fee is $18.00 and you receive the fabric, directions and a bonus pattern each month.

2010 Cape Cod Retreat
Plans are made for our fall retreat to the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, MA. We are offering two different options again this year. Option One is where you come about 3:00 on Friday and stay until about 5:00 on Sunday. This option includes about 50 hours of sewing time, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners. It also includes the mystery if you opt to do that, and a class with Michelle and Laura if you opt to do that. The cost this year of Option One is $490.00 per person double occupancy. Option Two means you can start sewing at 5:00 on Thursday, includes the extra night of lodging but does not include any extra meals. Everything from Option One is also included. The price of Option Two is $560.00 double occupancy. This year's dates are Thurs. Nov. 11-14, 2010.

NEW BUCK A BLOCK SERIES 6: Beginning in July 2009 we will begin the 6th Buck A Block Series. This next program uses 2.25” Thangles and the blocks finish to 9”. We will once again be offering two color ways. One will be in Winter colors (reds, greens, golds and creams) and one will be blue Batiks. No prior sign up is necessary just stop in any time in July to get started!

Simple Sampler Blocks
Beginning in July 2009 we will be offering a new sampler that is as easy as it gets. All the pieces will be pre-cut for you and all you have to do is go home and sew it up. We will be offering it in two color ways, a white background with thirties prints and an off white background and earthy colors. It works almost like Buck A Block. Just stop into the store anytime during the month to pick up your fabric kit. $4.99 per month.
